Stevie Ray Vaughan

Texas Flood
1982 Epic Records
Originally recorded as a demo using studio time donated by Jackson Browne, this album exploded on to the scene, bringing blus back into pop music. The music simply flows from Stevies fingers as he gives 110% on every track. "Rude Mood" blasts with its ferocity, "Lenny" sooths with its lyrical guitar playing.

Couldn't Stand The Weather
1984 Epic Records
Another blues guitar masterpiece, SRV burns on both originals and covers. Stevie's version of "Tin Pan Alley" has to be one of the all time great slow blues recordings. "Cold Shot", "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" and Couldn't Stand The Weather" are all amazing tracks.
