David Gilmour

David Gilmour in Concert
2002 Columbia Records
An intimate and semi-unplugged show filmed at the Royal Festival Hall. Gilmour is not in his best singing voice here, but it all still works. This great DVD includes 2 versions of Comfortably Numb, one featuring obert Wyatt, the other featuring Bob Geldof. Extended instrumental sections allow Gilmour to switch seamlessly from acoustic parts on his Ovation to the electric parts on his Gretch... a stroke of genius. This DVD also includes a few gems in the form of performance clips from earlier in Gilmour's carreer and rehearsal footage.
Highly Recommended

Remember That Night
2007 Columbia Records
This 2 DVD set is a visual and aural feast of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd Songs. Beautifully filmed at the Royal Albert Hall, this set is a sure winner for Floyd fans and guitar fans alike. David Crosby and Graham Nash add wonderful harmony backing vocals. (This reviewer is greedy though and missed the usual female backup singers.)
